The Little Rock IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center (TAC) is available by appointment only. If you think that you need IRS services, first check if the service is available online at IRS.gov or through your IRS online account. If you still need assistance, call toll-free 1-844-545-5640 to speak to an IRS representative and schedule an appointment. See below for additional information.
How to Request an Appointment at the IRS Office in Little Rock
Taxpayers in need of service at the IRS Little Rock Taxpayer Assistance Center (TAC) will need to call ahead to schedule an appointment. IRS customer assistance no longer offers walk-in service.
Before making an appointment, you should always check first to see if the answer to your question is available at IRS.gov or if the service you need is available through your IRS online account. You may be able to resolve your tax questions online, eliminating the need to make a special trip to a local TAC or wait on the phone to connect to an IRS customer service agent.
What can I do with an IRS account?
The IRS takes calls for appointments at all local Taxpayer Assistance Centers. Taxpayers requiring assistance should call 844-545-5640 to schedule an appointment at the Taxpayer Assistance Center located at 700 W. Capitol, Little Rock, AR 72201 or any other local IRS TAC. Be sure to check the days and hours of service as well as services offered at the location they plan to visit. For additional information on available services, check out Publication 5136, the IRS Services Guide.
When you call, an IRS representative may be able to help resolve your issue over the phone and will schedule an appointment at a local IRS TAC if face-to-face service is needed. In most cases, callers are able to resolve their tax issue without having to travel to a TAC, which can sometimes be a significant trip.
