The Internal Revenue Service announced tax relief in the form of extended filing and payment deadlines for individuals and businesses in the entire state of Arkansas. If you can’t meet the tax filing deadline, request an extension by April 15 to avoid penalties, but ensure any owed taxes are paid by that date. If expecting a refund, no extension is necessary. You can file for an extension online or by mail using Form 4868.
