Tax Problem Solving Day

Have you been getting scary or confusing letters from the IRS? Have you tried to call the IRS for help but were not able to get your questions answered? We have an opportunity for you to address your tax issues and get your questions answered in person!
Arkansas Asset Builders is presenting a Tax Problem Solving Day in Conway, AR, on Nov 22! Free help from the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service will be available to all on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional free services from UALR Bowen School of Law – Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program will be available for those who qualify. The event will be hosted at the Faulkner County Library: 1900 Tyler Street, Conway AR 72032.
At this event, you will be able to meet directly with IRS representatives and/or law students from UALR to receive assistance with unresolved IRS tax problems. If your tax problem meets IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service case criteria, they will assign a Case Advocate to continue working directly with you until your issue is resolved. Everyone will receive personalized, step-by-step guidance on how to move forward with resolving your issue. No appointments are required, but pre-registration is encouraged.
If you are not able to attend this event, we have information and resources that can help you figure out what is going on with your taxes. Check out this article about IRS notices and what you might need to do in response. You can also read more from us about how to identify whether a tax-related message you receive is legitimate or a scam.
All taxpayers are encouraged to sign up for your IRS online account in order to access prior year tax records! Learn more here about the services available through your IRS account. We also have a step by step guide to help you verify your identity electronically through ID.me.
