IRS Outreach & Problem Solving Days

IRS Problem Solving Days: Struggling with IRS tax issues? Get free, in-person assistance from IRS and legal experts who can help you find solutions to difficult tax situations and connect you with additional support.

Did you end up with a big balance due to the IRS for 2025 and you’re not sure how you will be able to pay it? Do you have prior year tax issues still hanging over your head? Have you tried to call the IRS for help but were not able to get your questions answered? We have an opportunity for you to address your tax issues and get your questions answered in person!

Arkansas Asset Builders is partnering with Legal Aid of Arkansas and the UALR Bowen School of Law present a series of Tax Problem Solving Days in Little Rock this October. Free tax help from the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service and legal assistance from two Low Income Taxpayer Clinics will be available to all on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join us at one of our upcoming stops:

  • CALS Fletcher Library: Tuesday, October 13, 1-4 PM, 823 N Buchanan Street, Little Rock AR 72205

  • UALR Bowen School of Law: Wednesday, October 14, 9 AM-12 PM, 1201 McMath Avenue, Little Rock AR 72202

At these events, you will be able to meet directly with advocates and experts to receive assistance with unresolved IRS tax problems. If your tax problem meets IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service case criteria, they will assign a Case Advocate to continue working directly with you until your issue is resolved. Everyone will receive personalized, step-by-step guidance on how to move forward with resolving your issue. No appointments are required, but pre-registration is encouraged.

If you are not able to attend these events, we have information and resources that can help you figure out what is going on with your taxes. Check out our resources on understanding IRS notices, or read more about how to identify whether a tax-related message you receive is legitimate or a scam.
